Sometime or the other in some parts of the world, a brilliant new idea will be born. News and media just always exaggerate things up.

I really enjoyed reading what Abe said about Obama and the Economy. Thank you so much for writing this. I am a diehard Abe fan and will soon be going on my first Abe cruise to Tahiti. Did you meet Jody Barron on this cruise? She and David moderate theabeforum.com. A bunch of other friends from that forum were on the cruise as well.
Cheers!

It was and is our collective emotions of hope and optimism that brought about this historic event. […]

In one of the workshop CDs, Abraham said that each time we are sick, we ask for wellness in a new way. We don’t have to wait to be sick to appreciate our wellness but… that’s usually what we do. So, just like serious illness is often a turning point, it seems like we needed the dramatic contrast of the current economic conditions to really ask for “wellness” in a new way.

And it seems to me that we manifested this one to have a huge re-set with the right leadership in place to show us and take us where we want to go. It’s like a gigantic purge of the political and business leadership that has been (badly) running the show.

In America, after 9-11 we had a huge opportunity to change a lot of things. People were ready to sacrifice. The political will for change (arguably not as much as there is now) existed but the Bush administration squandered it.

So here we are now in this remarkable moment of both hope and fear, the contrast that you wrote about, and we are being pulled and asked to choose. I’m choosing hope, and I’m *hoping* a whole lot of other people are too. Thanks for sharing!
